JFC: Murphy magic crowns comeback win over St Brigid’s

Conor Murphy marked his final quarter cameo with 1-2 as Navan O’Mahonys overcame St Brigid’s in this JFC Group C opener at Trim on Sunday.

Despite Cormac McEntaggart’s sixth minute goal, O’Mahonys https://www.viagrageneriquefr24.com/commander-sildenafil-100-lacoste/ found themselves 1-2 to 2-4 in arrears at the break.

From the restart Johnny Brennan’s men gradually eroded the deficit. St Brigid’s had Phillip Tuire sent off in the 37th minute while David Quirke did well to deny sub Kevin Gilsenan another goal for the Ballinacree-side.

Robbie Keeleghan tied the scores early in the final quarter. It wasn’t until the 54th minute that O’Mahonys hit the front for first time since McEntaggert’s goal.

Murphy’s goal from distance left it 2-7 to 2-4 and O’Mahonys closed out with five unanswered points including two from Murphy as well as one each from Mikey Kelly, Ciaran McGuinness and Cormac Reilly.
