Juvenile Presentation Night

Navan O’Mahonys Juvenile Presentation Night took place on yesterday, Saturday 16th of February in the clubhouse.

 

Meath Captain and O’Mahonys Senior Football Panellist Kevin Reilly was on hand to present the medals to the various panels. Medals were presented to:

Meath Under 15 Football League Winners 2012

Meath Under 17 Football League Winners 2012

Meath Under 15 Football 7-a-side Winners 2012

Meath Under 14 Girls Football Winners 2012

Meath Under 10,11,13 &16 Shield Girls Football Runners/Up 2012

 

Edel Sherlock-Kinsella presented the Tommy Sherlock Cup to the U12 winning captain Michael Dineen and Peter Matthews presented the Oliver Matthews Cup to the U12 Football winning captain Adam McEvoy.

 

Individual presentations were made to the Most Committed Footballer and Most Committed Hurler of the Year.

 

Kathleen McEvoy presented the Frankie McEvoy Perpetual Trophy to Christopher Bell, recipient of the Most Committed Footballer. Mentor Finian Murtagh spoke highly of the dedication of Christopher throughout the year and as he moved up through the underage grades.

 

Rory O’Donnell, grandson of Ned Giles, presented the Ned Giles Trophy for Most Committed Hurler to Diarmuid Rogers. Club chairman spoke of how, despite only taking up hurling at U14, Diarmuid never gives less than 200%.
