Summerhill ……. 1-9 O’Mahonys …….. 1-8
O’Mahonys, who came into this fixture with a 100% win record, never led on this occasion having played against a strong wind in the opening half.
They lost Brian Dillon and sub Cormac McGuinness through injury during the opening 30 minutes. Thanks to points from Henry Finnegan and sub Darragh Maguire O’Mahonys were just four points off the pace, 0-2 to 0-6, at the break.

A forward surge by Willie Ryan led to David Larkin landing Summerhill’s final score of the hour. David Bray created the opening for Jake Regan’s 54th minute goal that trimmed the deficit back to the minimum.
