Another good day for O Mathuna as the u13 ladies won against Royal Gaels at home on a wet Sunday night with very slippy conditions.
Another very competitive game from two Division 1 sides. The O Mahony’s girls were very strong in the first half and were leading at the break 2:5 to 1:2. Royal Gaels came out fighting in the second half and scored a goal and three points to level the game. The Brews Hill girls kept the head and battled on to secure a victory with a final score of 4:7 to 2:8. Top scorers for O Mahonys were Laoise Mc Dermott and Ailbhe Leahy. Leah Mooney, Dee Forde and Lauren Kearney played well in defence.
