U15s victory against St. Colmcilles

Well done to the U15’s who had to concede home advantage today and travel to Piltown in what was a top of the table clash against Colmcilles. The Hoops got off to a flying start with 3 goals from Craig Munelley who was in excellent form. Ronin Clarke was in fine form also being fouled twice to earn two penalties for his team. The two penalties were converted by the two Evan’s, Power and Coffey. Brian O Hanlon also contributed with a goal followed by two points from Craig Munnelley and two converted frees from Evan Coffey, Adam McEvoy also scored a fine point from play. The first half score was 6-5 to 0-3. In the second half the Hoops continued their dominance with a goal and a point from Ronin Clarke, Brian O Hanlon got in for his second goal of the evening while Craig Munnelley topped of a fine performance with another two points. Another goal from Conor Brady who’s can’t stop scoring now completed the scoring for O’Mahonys. Jamie Murray and Luke Carberry and Gerry Dillon had fine performances for the O’Mahonys in defence. The final score 9-8 to 2-5
