U15s win against Seneschalstown

Well done to Navan O’Mahonys U15’s who had a great win this morning away to Senceshalstown. In what was an entralling first half with some excellent football from both teams. Ronin Clarke put in a fine first half with a goal and two points linking well with Adam Mc Evoy and Brian O’Halloran. At halftime there was just two points in it with Senceshalstown leading 1-10 to 1-08. The second half continued at a thrilling pace with both sides exchanging some tremendous scores. The two Evans for O’ Mahonys Power and Coffey were lording it at fullback and midfield and Jamie Murray and Craig Munnelley put in fine performances in the half forward line. Gerry Dillon made an appearance from his hospital bed and did some Trojan work for us while in goals Jake Caffrey made some fine saves to keep O’Mahonys in it at vital stages. O’Mahonys finally pulled away to win by 4points with a score line of 2-19 to 2-15 which was a credit to both teams
