Good team performance overall with some notable contributions from Corey Leddy, Sean McEntaggert, Cormac McEntaggert and Duggie Dillon.

Summary:
Dunshaughlin pointed 2 frees in the opening 10mins before Peter Butler opened the scoring for O’Mahony’s after 12mins. Corey Leddy followed up with an excellent goal one minute later. Dunshaughlin immediately responded with a point from play. Conor Murphy and Conor Gleeson got 2 more points for O’Mahony’s before the halftime whistle to go 1-3 to 0-3 ahead at the interval. Leading by 3 points at halftime, the O’Mahonys side reflected on the 8 wides kicked in the first half.

 

Two quick points from play on the resumption from Murphy and Dillon saw O’Mahony’s take control of the second half in which the visitors scored a tally of 4-9 to the home side’s 0-1. Some excellent scores resulted from several good passages of play.
