Under 11 Football: Autumn / Winter 2011.

By Tomas Brady

The last game in the very successful round of Under 11 Autumn / Winter fixtures was played against St. Colmcilles on Saturday 19.11.2011. Along the way Navan O’Mahonys played Gael Colmcille, Donaghmore/Ashbourne, Dunboyne, Senchelstown and Ratoath.

We would like to especially thank Gordon Brangan and his fellow mentors in Donaghmore/Ashbourne for their organisation of this additional round of games which allowed a fantastic opportunity for the Under 11 players to showcase their talent and abilities against similarly aged players.

Each game played was in great spirit and the most significant aspect of each game was how the Navan O’Mahony Under 11 team played to their full ability right to the final whistle.

An extra game was played away against St. Brigids, Blanchardstown at their fine Russell Park facility. As we would expect, the team displayed excellent application in terms of consistancy and fair play in a close game played in very windy conditions.

The Under 11 panel included:

Craig Munnelly, Owen Duggan, Luke Carberry, Jamie Murray, Gerard Dillon,Cody
Creighton, Jack Cullen, Sean Fennessy, Conor Brady, Evan Coffey, Dami Oyewole, Davey
Joyce, Eimhin Power, Ronan Clarke, Cormac Geraghty, Adam McEvoy, Michael Power,
Harry Deane, Kyle Johnson, Andrew O’Neill, John Masterson, Jack Harte, John

A special Thank You to the players and also their families who very actively supported the team both at home and away and we look forward to meeting up again in early 2012.
